About Scotty Eastwood

Scotty Eastwood, founder of Dose of Courage Coaching
I help driven people build an extraordinary life without sacrificing the people and things that make life worth living.

The short version

I'm a husband, a father, and a serial entrepreneur who has started more than 10 businesses chasing freedom, faith, and impact. I've had real wins. I've also taken a loss that cost me multiple six figures when a partnership built on good faith went sideways. That one taught me more than any win did: ownership, contracts, and trust matter more than good intentions.

Why I coach

I've had a passion for growing and living boldly since I was a kid. I've kept a journal for more than 20 years, and it became one of my greatest tools for seeing the patterns underneath my own behavior: the thoughts that held me back, the fears that kept me stuck, and the beliefs that actually created change when I changed them.

Now I coach entrepreneurs through the same stall points I've lived. Not from theory. From having been there. The entrepreneurs I work with are already capable and already producing. They're just working too many hours for what they get back, held up by an invisible block: fear, resentment, or guilt quietly capping what they let themselves do.

Who I'm really here for

I work with Christian entrepreneurs whose main priorities are building freedom for their family and serving the Lord. The ones who value righteousness and integrity, who lead with service, and who put their families first. The people quietly raising up a better generation in God's kingdom.

These are leaders, whether they carry the title yet or not. I believe they're the ones who will shape the future world we all live in. I'm a father myself, so none of this is abstract to me. The better these leaders become, the better their families become. The better the families, the better our future. That's the whole reason I do this.

How I actually help

I built the Freedom Framework to fix that in a specific order. Find the small number of actions actually driving your results. Protect them on the calendar. Then clear whatever fear or belief is blocking you from doing them. It's 1:1, it's direct, and it's honest, because that's what actually moves people.

My faith is a big part of how I coach, and you'll see many principles taught by Jesus Christ woven through this program. I served a two-year mission in Brazil, and those principles still shape how I show up for the people I work with. I believe every person is given real gifts and real potential by God, and using them well is how you end up blessing the lives of the people around you.

What I build everything on, in order: faith, family, integrity, freedom. Then health, growth, adventure, service, and meaningful work.

What I'm actually against

I'm not anti-work. In fact, I'm a great advocate for it. What I'm against is absence from the things that matter most, and wasting time. The most precious things in life are the ones I can never get back once they're gone. That's why I help people stop trading them away for "someday" and start building now. Today is someday.
